Past activities include serving in Mayor’s Office of Human Capital Development, City of New York, Senior Policy Advisor, Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Deputy Director of the NYC Commission on Human Rights in the 1980’s.

 

 

Rachel Morales: Documentarian. Photographer. Wabanaki Liaison. Senior Associate Director Office of Admissions/USM; Master’s in Adult Education. Long-standing relationships with Passamaquoddy and Penobscot Tribal members, immigrants, refugees & Portland’s working-class African American and white communities.

 

 

 

Dinah Minot: Project Partner. Participant. Exec. Director of Creative Portland. Outreach to visual artists, musicians, performers, writers in immigrant/refugee/asylum seeker communities. Organizing pop-up performances at PAE, City Hall, Creative Portland.

 

 

 

Chris Dwyer: Evaluation Design, Reviewer. Longtime associate of AAW. Senior vice president of RMC Research, a national firm engaged in research and consultation in areas related to the well-being of families, children, and communities, specifically education, the arts, literacy, media, and health care and prevention. Board of NEFA. City Councilor, Portsmouth, NH.

 

 

Carrie Losneck: Communications Director. Documentarian. Second Eyes. Community organizer. She came to Portland from the Huu aht reservation on Vancouver Island CA. Former Board of Haymarket Foundation, radio producer, past AAW coordinator, community liaison. Audio Work: NPR, MPBN, NYT liaison. Her radio work has been featured on Maine Public Radio, NPR, and Marketplace.
